Internship in “La Baule”

Invitation to La Baule

For a young man from Cervia, an internship in France to build the future with the young people of Europe.

The friendship agreement between Cervia and La Baule gives a young man from Cervia the opportunity to live a summer in France with young people from all over the continent to share the dream of the new Europe and explore, in an atmosphere of international exchange, the institutions, museums, businesses and beaches of La Baule, one of the most popular tourist destinations on the French Atlantic coast.
The activities, organized by the La Baule headquarters of the Center of Francophone Culture of the Lion Clubs de France, will have as their common element the culture, conviviality and friendship among peoples. The activities will encourage dialogue, reflection and confrontation on the themes of technology, communication, European cultural identities, the role of women, energy and medicine. In La Baule, in summer 2019, in particular, the four weeks of internship will be dedicated to the relationship between man and the sea and inspired by the pages of “Captain Nemo” protagonist of “20.000 leagues under the sea” by Jules Verne.
The young person chosen for the exchange will be offered room and meals by French friends for the entire duration of the stay (4 weeks approx. from 29 June to 31 July). The French-speaking cultural center will also cover the cost of travel between Paris and La Baule round-trip and the Lions Club Cervia Ad Novas will offer a scholarship of €500.00 to cover the remaining travel and accommodation expenses.
